'A magical place' describes the Montessori Development Center. Our son is blossoming and growing in a school that truly instills a love of learning in their students. The environment is nurturing, respectful and rich with interesting materials. Each child's needs are met at their level and there is no limit as to where the child can stretch to meet their individual capabilities. Our child is so happy to attend MDC everyday. As parents we are so glad that we have found a wonderful school where our son can grow, develop and just enjoy being a child. Kindergarten Parents

I have been a parent at this school for 8 years now with one daughter still there and two boys who started in the toddler room and graduated kindergarten. This was undoubtedly the best educational foundation I could have given my children. It is an excellent academic program and excellent teaching staff. I love that my children were able to work at their own ability level. Their individual strengths, weaknesses, and needs were identified and addressed by the staff in all areas: academically, socially and emotionally. The staff truly cared about them as individuals instead of the group mentality I have seen elsewhere. My sons were far ahead of their peers academically and socially when they started elementary school. Overall, this is a great school with caring teachers and provides a superb education! I can not say enough good things about MDC! Love it!

I have three son that attended Montessori Development Center. They started out in the Toddler class and graduated from the Kindergarten program. I was extremely happy with the program and more importantly they were happy there. They learned the importance of respect for one another, and everything needed to live life. They left Montessori with strong Math and Language skills, they were academically and socially ready to move on to elementary school. It is the best I could have ever done for my sons. The elementary school environment is such a disappointment after leaving Montessori Development Center. The staff at Montessori is the most caring in all areas of a child's life. Montessori is a philosophy that should be a part of every educational system from pre-school through high school, in my opinion.

We didn't realize how below average this Montessori School was until we switched to another. Felt a lack of devotion to the children here. Teachers seemed preoccupied and inexperienced; the Directress impenitent. Our children were not happy here. The student evaluations and parent/teacher conferences amounted to impromptu verbal impressions; nothing written.

My son attended this school's 3 year old program. I thought the general atmosphere and the administration were cold. No warm fuzzy and atmosphere here. Everything is very secretive which I did not like. Some of the teachers were quite versed in the Montessori method and the materials were impressive. However, the times that I sat in my car and watched the kids on the playground and the few times that I volunteered to help with a project, I felt that the teachers socialized instead of interacting with the children. My son was not a self-starter and needed that, so I think he could have been doing more in the classroom. Overall not as good as other Montessori schools and not worth the money.
