not so great. things always change and kids and parents are not notified. child learned great things By teacher( who was certified) there are better centers in the area. there is no flexibility in scheduling. parents are always paying full time payments. the owner does not like to communicate with parents. only in a passive aggressive manner.
My child has been at village for several years, and I am very pleased with her growth and development there. The facility is adorable, with a huge playground shaded by large mature trees, miniature sinks and bathrooms, and a genuine "village" schoolhouse building feeling. The school is nothing without the teachers, however, and I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Claire (2yr old room), Miss Kate (3 yr old room), Miss Helen (4 year old room, now a floating aide), and the amazing kindergarten teacher, Miss Carolyn. Village also has sports and other extracurriculars throughout the month, they have a kitchen and frequently do cooking projects with the classes, bring in someone to do yoga once a month, and have a very structured academic program. I love Village and truly appreciate the educational footing they have given my child (who was reading before she was 5).
The teachers make this center what it is! The teachers/staff are very caring and compassionate. You can just about smell the love from the center as you enter the secured door!
Wonderful... my 3-year old son has attended the VS since he was 12 weeks old. The faculty is experienced and genuinely caring and my son couldn't be happier there. By Sunday night, he's asking when he can go back to school! He is learning more at 3 than I'd ever imagined possible. The VS is truly a top-notch school at a very reasonable price.
Outstanding! Both of my children have been in the school since they were infants. The staff is kind and caring in the infant and toddler rooms as well as the preschool. Village begins the 'preschool experience' in the toddler room - they teach colors, counting, alphabet and encourage reading and imaginative play. I would, and have, highly recommend Village to anyone.
I have an infant and a 3 year old here. The staff is wonderful and both my children love being there!
Regarding Preschool-I couldn't ask for better- socialization and learning everyday skills. Combined with extracurriccular activities. My child learns everyday( and he doesn't even realize it)
