Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Our child began at A Child's Place in the winter of 2014. We soon learned that the former director left shortly before that time. At first the school met our needs. The staff was attentive, and I felt that quality care was being given. Then came the summer. Most of the staff that attended to our daughter disappeared during the summer, with nary an explanation. The quality of the care declined rapidly. It was quite astonishing to see things turn so bad, so quickly. The staff members take no responsibility for their actions. At times they missed feedings and nap times, and just told us to speak with the director when we questioned them I would say that this school is spiraling into chaos. There seems to be limited management, and communication with the office is spotty at best. Steer clear of this school!

My son has been there since he was 5 months old and I absolutely love this place, especially the infant room. Fran and Dana (infant room teacher) are excellent, loving, amazing caregivers. I trust them completely. New director (Lauren) is very good, very proactive and has improved the place tremendously. Facility is beautiful and they are actually renovating all classrooms, which is making it even nicer. Lots of green area and our son goes on walks with his teachers in the stroller weather permitting and loves it. Also, lots of outside play. Music class is optional but excellent - my son is 17 months and sings some of the songs. In the Young Toddler Room, Ms Tiffany is excellent. I'm now pregnant with my second and will definitely have him go there.

Ever since the new director coming aboard, the school is now living up to its prestigious expectations. Her communication is impeccable, she is reliable and very friendly. Will go out of her way to help us and everyone else! Simply amazing. Tracie did a great job hiring this time!! The school now has an awesome security system in pla e, the school is being renovated to match its surroundings, a cleaning team has been brought in to keep the school sparky and more activities for both children and parents are now being offered. We couldn't be more please with our decision to enroll our new baby boy and out toddler. Thanks for everything you do ladies! You are all amazing teachers who adore my children!

Our two children where at "A Child's Place" from 3 - 4 months of age through kindergarten. We were very happy with the overall atmosphere of the preschool. Each stage in their development was supported and enriched by the great staff who made learning and exploring exciting for them. I do remember the days when I would rush from work to pick them up early, only to have to "sit an wait" because they didn't want to go! Too busy with a fun project of the day or book/game their group was involved in! :) Our children are now 13 and 12, and we honestly believe ACP helped to mold their early years in a positive way! They still can recall many wonderful memories! :)

My 2 1/2 year old daughter has been at ACP since she was 4 months old, and we have had nothing but the best experiences there. The staff truly care about the children, and she has learned so much from them. She loves going to school each day. I would highly recommend ACP to anyone looking for child care options.

Our 4 year old has been enrolled at A Child's Place since he was 18 months old. There were several teacher switches and communication problems in the beggining. However, since early 2010, we've seen a huge improvement in parent/teacher/administration communication and cleanliness in the school. The playground has been improved, the teachers TRULY care and love the kids (which is the most important), and my son is so well-adjusted and happy here! We plan to keep him here until he's ready to go to Kindergarten. Love ACP!

The after-care programs are completely unorganized and totally unsatisfactory! VERY DISAPPOINTED - my 5th grader was exposed to the movie 'The Ring' last week in after-care and is now up in the middle of the night - unable to get back to sleep. What were you thinking letting a 10 year old watch this?

Both my girls were enrolled here. Laura at age 3 and Berkeley at 18 months. They loved their school, and their teachers. I never worried about them during the day. I knew they were safe and careful eyes were watching them. If I had it all to do over again, I would. Without question.

A very bad experience at this facility. The business was recently sold and it has gone downhill fast. Building is falling apart, manager seems overwhelmed and is unresponsive. Certain teachers are wonderful, but others are horrendous.

Decrepit building, poorly run, horrible staff. A number of parents including myself have pulled our children. There are better options.
