Both my sons attended the Jewish Community Center Kindergarten. The teachers were very professional, loving, creative, and approachable. The emphasis on academics combined with a diversity of cultural activities are unique in the Lehigh Valley. The director was very hands-on and knowledgeable in educational trends. My sons gained strong reading and math skills plus enjoyed swimming, Karate (and Yoga), Music, Computer instruction, and many field trips and performances. I felt the staff really 'knew' my children. There were always two teachers in the classroom. Having moved to the area from the midwest, I was particularly impressed about the diversity of instruction and the emphasis on current educational goals. I would highly recommend the school (and do). I only wish they also had a first grade.
My two children attended the Allentown Jewish Community center kindergarten (two years apart). We were very pleased with the quality of education, the caring teachers, and the diversity of instruction. Swimming,computers, music, drama were specialties. We would recommend without question. Very supportive head staff.
