Touchstone School

Touchstone Beaverton offers what is perhaps the best Kindergarten education in the state of Oregon. Yes, It's a bold statement. But, as a military veteran, former middle school mathematics teacher, and parent of a child who just finished kindergarten there, I can say this with the utmost confidence. The bottom line? Nowhere will you find a staff more passionate about teaching, qualified and committed to your child's progress. All things considered, you won't find a better kindergarten education value anywhere in the continental U.S.

This school has the most creative, challenging and exciting curriculum for toddlers to kindergarten. Many kids there can read and write well before entering into grade 1. Teachers there are experienced and they have very low rate of staff turn-over. In Touchstone (or previously named as Evergreen Academy), even I get excited as a parent about their activities and curriculum. They organized many additional field trips without extra fees such as apple farm trip, drama, pizza restaurant, etc... I highly recommend parents who wants a competitive and challenging learning environment for their children to enroll in this school/day care. It is a structured school for 3-6/7 years old. I rate Evergreen Academy or Touchstone 5 stars.
