Willoughby Montessori Day School

This is the worst school I have ever been to! When I moved into the willoughby area I expected to find a school where my child was with the same teacher all day, where the teacher actually knew my child's name and what they liked, didnt like during the day. There is no sturcture here, the children are moved from one teacher to the next, the never form bonds or relationshsips! Its terrible the teachers do not even know my child's name, they got him confused with another little boy! Awful!!!

Although the hours are convenient and classrooms pretty...this play centered approach left my daughter with absolutely no progress through the year. The teacher literally said that since my daughter did not show strong interest in the next level of "letters", she did not advance. I AM a teacher and feel that there should be SOME sort of progress throughout the year! What else are we sending them to school for? She was injured twice at the center, which happens to little ones at play, I understand. However, once it was a head injury that I was only notified about at the end of the day. We ended up at the ER that night with her vomitting from the injury. I know that the teachers are not doctors, but I could have at least used a phone call so that I could have made the decision to seek care. Needless to say, I would not waste another year of my daughter's education there. Although my daughter did enjoy playing there, it was far from worth our overall time and money. :(

This has been a wonderful school for my 3 year old and my 1 year old. They love their teachers, and love coming to school every morning. Most if not all of the teachers have been there for years, which speaks volumes to me about the facility as a whole.

Willoughby Montessori is the best daycare in the area. The teachers and office staff are wonderful.

My child has attended Willoughby Montessori Day School for the past two years. The staff regularly communicates issues to parents and provides a learning environment full of diversified activities. The low teacher to student ratio allows for teachers to get to know each child individually and customize a plan to address any issues. Payment plan is affordable and allows for a variety of payment methods/schedules, etc.

This is a great school. Warm and inviting, my children are eager to attend. The teachers are first-class and deal with the children on a very personal, yet mature level. My children are testing higher than they should, and want to bring their work home. This is a great school, and the day care only adds to the benefits and time management available to us as parents.

Love the teachers in the classrooms. The school also offers day care, which is ok. The Pre-School teachers and Kindergarten Teacher are wonderful !
