There is a lot of turnover in staff, but most of them are wonderful, especially the more recent ones. They have good accreditation, but rushed to get there, focusing on the paperwork and not necessarily involving the kids (which is the whole point).. The teachers write their own curriculum, if you will, and go off what the kids are interested in. Some rooms are more instructional than others. The better teachers stimulate the kids with songs and structure that involves languages, science etc., while other rooms have more "free play". I like more structure and stimulation, as my 3 an 4 year old already read, so I took my kids out. According to their philosophy that is not age appropriate behavior and should not be a part of their education at that age... I've suggested putting on plays and performances for parents etc to get everyone involved and active, but they've been reluctant. There aren't many parents that stay for longer than a few seconds to pick up/drop off their kids. No one is very interested, it seems... I believe this to be an above average school for the area, but there are still many issues, many to do with their protocol.
