Michelle's Academy

On 5-16-12 we stumbled across this school and entered to see about placement for my grandson. It took 3 tries before being assisted. We were speaking with a employee when the owner arrived, dishelved, and we were introduced. My daughter was speaking to her when she abruptly stopped speaking, called the employee a "hater" and then returned to the conversation. My daughter inquired about a tour to which she stated in a harsh rude tone "NO". She then asked my daughter if she had a email, handed her a card, telling her to email her, giving her my grandson's info, to which she would send the handbook and policies. After reviewing that my daughter should email requesting a time for a tour then she would see what she could do. Honeslty, the owners behavior was rude, harsh, curt, and hostile. I would assume that a school with the title academy in their name would teach respect, manners, cooperation, and acceptance however these attributes were not present on the date in question. I can understand why the dischrged employee was so upset as obvously Michelle treats both her staff and potential clients with the same disregard, rudeness, and lack of respect.

My son attends Michelle's Academy and we are very very happy there. Michelle and her staff are very professional and go out of there way to address all your concerns. I am very pleased with this daycare and I love the new building and the cleanliness of it all. The children per class are small and the building has a very good layout. They offer Soccer Tots and TumbleTots for kids over 2, as well, which was a huge bonus for us.

I am a former employee of Michelle. I thought she was very professional until she "discharged" me for medical reasons four days before my insurance was supposed to start. She then made it impossible for me to get government help by lying to the unemployment office about why she fired me. That was three months ago and I still haven't received my final paycheck and she will not return my calls. Thanks to Michelle Metzger I am now $4000 in debt. Great school but she is unprofessional and flat out mean to her employees.

Michelle's Academy is both of our children's home away from home. They are treated like family. They provide more services than any other daycare we checked out - including the following: they provide all meals/formula, etc. All you have to provide are diapers/wipes. They also are very educational centric and have appropriate levels of teaching at all academic levels. They also bring in 3rd party vendors so interested parents can send their children to various classes during daycare hours - so that they don't have to run around taking kids to various clasess (eg, karate classes, gym classes, etc). I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else. Great job Michelle and company!!!

I was content at our other center, and even thought I was happy with the center and having our children there..... Then I went over to MA on the suggestion of our neighbor. We switched that following Monday. Michelle and her staff treat everyone like they are family, its not just a business to her. I would urge everyone with kids to AT LEAST go talk to her, and see for yourself.

Very nice daycare! My son loves the class, teachers and other kids. Very clean building, has lots of educational tools in each room. All the teachers are very nice, very well educated and great with the kids! Highly recommend MA for any child!!

We love it here! The teachers are great and the building is new, clean and well designed. My son's days are filled with fun, educational activities. Michelle the owner is always accessible and wonderful with the kids! I would highly recommend.

Michelle is there sometimes until 9:00 at night. I have never seen a teacher work so hard for the families that attend her center. Michelle, you have succeeded in your goal, you make us all feel at home. A very satisfied parent
