Leaps & Bounds Child Care

The poster who wrote about the hot dogs is probably the only real review. I can assure you that this is still how the facility operates. 10 cheerios is what they seem to feed kids for breakfast everyday. I do have to say from what I have experienced the older staff does not seem to tolerate active "mobiles" also my kids have came home soaked and clothes soiled from lack of diaper changes. I have gotten bottles back with the wrong tops and nipples but my childs name on the actual bottle... My child had a bad bruise on his face from falling on their playground, the bruise did not go away for over a week! My children have never been in daycare and i regret the 2 weeks they spent there. They just want your money. I would not recommend this daycare-at least not for toddlers and younger.

My children have been attending Leaps and Bounds in Avon Lake since they where infants. Three of them are in middle school and my baby is in the Preschool Program. Through my many years of attending I have never been happier until now! The new Director is amazing and very helpful! She has made many positive changes including painting on the weekends, landscaping, making many changes internally including the menu. My child loves attending and I feel very secured and confident leaving my children in their care! Excellent job Leaps & Bounds!!!

All my children have attended Leaps and Bounds Preschool and Pre-K programs and I was very impressed with their performance. Every age group follows a developmentally appropriate lesson plan. When my children graduated from pre-k they where beyond ready for Kindergarten. The Leaps and Bounds Facility is very organized, developmentally appropriate, caring, patient, supportive, and most of all educated. I would recommend everyone to take a tour and enroll you will get the same feeling.

How many times should you serve hot dogs? My kids seem to be eating hot dogs, crackers and other non-nutritious junk almost everyday at this place. Plus, the older teachers seem very educated and professional, but the young ones talk with very poor grammar which makes me worry about what my kids will pick up and I am not even sure who the manager is right now. Add to that, the billing statements always seem to be wrong even though they just raised prices!

Leaps & Bounds is great! My children have been enrolled since they were 6 weeks old. The teachers are great and it is a real loving environment.
