We live in the Bluemont Lakes area and were told last year that my son would be going to Kennedy at Eagles instead of Kennedy to much of our dismay. We picked the Bluemont area, because of it's seclusion and choice of school. My son who is a kindergartner loves the school. He was upset that it wasn't Kennedy, but he has learned so much from the teachers and staff at the school. A few that I would like to mention are Mr. Metz, his music teacher, and Ms. Jacob, his teacher. Both of these teachers have taught my son so much and he has enjoyed the school year more because of them. The staff make up for the lack of school. I am still not impressed with the facilities, they have not changed it at all since it was a preschool and I know a lot of the children are upset because of this. I, personally, value the teachers and staff compared to the facility, however, the school should do something to accommodate those children. My son brings home library books each week. I know that he would love the library bigger like at Kennedy, but he does what he can with what they have available. Overall, the staff is fantastic and I would give a standing ovation to them.
