Teachers are often overheard complaining to each other that they need to hustle out of the classroom at the end of their shift because "management doesn't want to pay overtime". Classroom had an infestation of ants that needed to be complained about several times before the issue was addressed. Teachers aren't constant in any said classroom, therefore if a child has an adjustment issue this will definitely add to it. Time out is supposedly not an option but still used. Cameras in each classroom serve no purpose if there is an actual issue that needs to be looked into. Principal runs around with bare feet. There has been shortage of food during lunch time for the children. Some teachers have been observed neglecting children. Some racial prejudice towards children and their families have been observed. Tuition is absolutely ridiculous with an even more absurd increase annually. Parents are made to feel threatened if tuition isn't paid timely. Children are always sick, it doesn't seem like the "cleaning crew" does a good job sanitizing classrooms. Children made to feel embarrassed about potty training/bowel movements instead of encouraged to potty train properly. Issues are not addressed timely with the principal and no feed back for issues/concerns/complaints are provided to parents. Bottom line, not worth the money.
I've never felt like my child isn't getting the love and support she needs here. The teachers are great, the principal is completely relatable and other parents seem to be equally pleased. The weekly lesson plans always leave me feeling good knowing that, even at such a young age, my child is being exposed to structure and education in a fun and engaging manner. Doesn't hurt that the milk is orgnanic and the juice intake is minimal, or the music classes begin before age 2. Two thumbs way up for Chesterbrook at Beverly Crest!!!
