My son was immediately engaged upon entering. We knew right away that Renaissance was the school we had been looking for. All of the teachers are highly educated, loving and supportive. In addition to their wonderful curriculum my three year old now channels all of his energy attending soccer, yoga, karate, music and guitar lessons. His growth since attending is amazing. We highly recommend this family oriented school!
I LOVE this Montessori school - my son has attended for almost two years. The teachers are uniquely engaged in ensuring learning is always fun and occurring on multiple levels. They use music, language, nurturing support and real-life situations to teach the children socially appropriate behaviors and to set the foundations for life-long enjoyment of learning. Teachers create their own curriculum and develop activities (work) throughout the year using their knowledge and observations of the children's interests and needs. Children are able to freely move about the classroom, choosing work (sometimes with guidance), and occasionally even choosing to participate in other class. The staff is always willing to help the children work through challenges, is always available to discuss parent concerns and offer suggestions. Parent teacher conferences occur as needed. The staff is open to new ideas and enjoy integrating extra curricular experiences into the classroom. I'm confident my son will be at the head of his class when he begins school. If you are interested in child-led education, you must check this school out!
