Really wanted to like this place, but the original review is correct in that fundraising is the only area in which the administration communicates with parents. In every other way, specifically in keeping parents informed in the midst of constant teacher turnover, they are silent. The teachers are very caring, but seem to be steadily driven away by an abusive administration. The end result is that the children do not have a stable learning environment. Attempts by parents to intervene were stonewalled. Until the administrator is removed, do not send your child here.

If you're looking for a true Montessori program, then this little school has it. The administrator does put a great emphasis on fund-raising. The tuition is low compared to other 'true' Montessori programs around, and I assume that's the reason for the fund-raising. This is my second year at the school and my child couldn't be happier. The teachers are of great quality and very well qualified to do their job. They may not have the latest classroom materials and equipment, but they do very well with what they do have. I would recommend the Anne Frank Montessori to any parent who is looking for a school that truly follows Maria Montessori's philosophy.

I enrolled my daughter in the Anne Frank Montessori School because I thought that the Montessori method would be beneficial. I found that the primary focus of AFMS was fundraising, not the students. I also found that their materials are dated, availability of extracurricular activities is very limited and parent involvement was only encouraged when it involved fundraising.
