this is a very bad school. No one is friendly, staff is rude to the parents and to the kids. there is no room for individuality and kids are not treated with kindness or respect, parents are treated even worst. keep your kids away from here .

Our son was at Little Ones for two years, 3 days a week. It was a very nice intro to social activity with other kids. They use to cook a lot together, play and create a lot with the wood blocks, doing experiments and have plenty of reading time. Book selection is great and diverse. The school is well design for the kids to have easy access to activities and resting area. Clean and safe with teachers who cares about our kids.

I absolutely agree with both of the prior posts. My child has been at the school for nearly a year. Unfortunately due to focus on keeping kids busy, vice individual learning and development, my wife and I are looking for another school for our child. :-(

I just moved to LIC from the UWS and my child has been attending Little Ones for several months. Being familiar with a lot of the preschool programs in the city as well as in Brooklyn, I would have to agree that the facilities and the student teacher ratio are positives. However, compared to some of the schools that I've visited, I feel that this school is weak in one important area...child development. They are great at implementing programs to keep the kids engaged and busy but what they lack is the flexibility to help each individual child learn and develop. Every child is different but the school does not seem to understand that in their teaching approach. I think Little Ones needs some competition in the neighborhood. They have been a monopoly and you know what you get with that.

I think this is one of the best preschools in the City. The staff is very professional and warm, the space is light and airy. There are lots of different areas and activities for the kids to play in, including a mirrored studio for music and dance. There is a high teacher to student ratio, which makes it easier to leave your toddler there, knowing they are getting enough attention. My only small complaint is they are open 8-5:30 for extended hours. If they were open to 6 it would much better accommodate parents who work 9-5. Normal hours are 9-2. Kids can go full time, M/W/F or T/Th (mine goes 2 full days). Can't recommend this place highly enough.
