While the program is amazing as are many of the staff, the teachers are under pressure to "perform". Too many interruptions in the day. This takes away from the children. There is a very high stress level for the staff and there is also a lot of "back stabbing" among some of the teachers .Very unhealthy work environment!
This is a facility open to CA employees, and as a parent of a girl and boy who went there I have had mixed results overall. Early on both did really well, as the ratios are small and they take kids as early as 6 weeks old. This makes it great for working (and nursing) mothers. Once they got to "primary" though things were different. My daughter is shy and the large class size of 24 didn't bother her. My son, who is active but otherwise normal, didn't do as well. He was frequently written up for minor infractions and the school is very regimented and strict Montessori. Again, it might work well for your child but probably not if you have an active boy. Parents have absolutely NO say in the program, and the management in place are not educators, they are long-time CA employees. Be aware.
