RDN is a wonderful social-based preschool (though they do fun learning activities for letters/numbers/shapes, it is not an academic based program). The teachers are gentle and kind, are knowledgable about age appropriate/developmental behaviors and how to address them, do age appropriate activities with them as well as letting them have free time. The classrooms are open and bright, and RDN is exactly what I believe a preschool should be - low key, fun, nurturing, and warm. I sent both of my children there and would highly recommend it to anyone who asked.

My daughter went to RDN School for the 3's and 4's program. There couldn't be any better teachers in the country than hers. They addressed every child's needs individually and could not be any more wonderful. My son is enrolled in the 2's program for next year and I have advised my friends to also put their 2 year olds in this program.

My son was in Riverside Drive Nursery's 2 year old program, 3 year old program and 4 year old program. We were so happy with the programs and teachers. We always felt that the needs of our child were addressed appropriately. We also believe that his years at RSD have prepared him for the years ahead. Our younger son will be eligible for the 2 year old program in Fall 2009 and we certainly plan on enrolling him at that time.
