Teachers do not encourage parent involvement in Growing Up Montessori, they don't support parents sticking around and want them to leave immediately, really rude. The school is very structured and the curriculum is good but it is way too disciplined for younger children. The teachers in the older classroom are great but the toddler teacher (2-3 year old classroom) is just ok. She can be cold & strict and she doesn't give the attention needed in that age group. She also doesn't care to offer any updates on the child's progress and gives you no information even when you ask for it. If you want to send your child to boot camp this is it.
Wonderful school! Great staff, environment, and the curriculum is beyond my expectations! My children love it!
This is easily the all around best pre-school I've encountered in Santa Fe. My two kids have been enrolled in 5 very different, very good, pre-schools, but MCH provides the best quality overall. I'm a veteran elementary school teacher and feel very qualified to evaluate the school's program, climate and quality of teaching. I can't rave enough and I am not one to rave.
