The teachers have great experience and training. Children are divided into classes by age, with a max of 8 little ones per teacher (and often the ratio is even better). Our toddler loves the play areas and comes home singing new songs and telling us various things he's learned at school, such as, "Saturn has rings and Jupiter is very, very, very BIG!" I've run into people who think Ark Preschool is religious. Well, they do teach the kids some songs about "Father God," but they are nondenominational and welcome children who are from families of any (or no) religious faith. It was important to us that our child not get indoctrinated or preached to about matters that don't agree with what or family believes. This school does a great job about just teaching simple things like "Jesus loves you" and "God is love." The children learn to sing a very simple song of thanks before meals. Staff is professional and very pleasant and approachable. Parents chip in by signing up to bring a class snack once or twice a month, and there are always parents coming or going in the hallways and classrooms, so it feels like the teachers get a lot of support.
