I have worked in several schools in Artesia and now I have been teaching Kindergarten for the last 9 years. Grand Heights is an exceptional school for early childhood. We were named to the Govenor"s list of Schools on the Rise 2011 based on our test scores. We have also been awarded the Invitational Learning Award. We have an extraordinary staff as well as a beautiful building with bright colors. Over 92% of our students can read and write when they leave Grand Heights what an accomplishment, especially for students who have never seen a daycare or preschool and have not educational background, Yay Grand Heights keep up the good work!
Grand Heights is a school where kids love to attend. The building is age appropriate, the school is decorated in the primary colors, you just have to see it to believe it! The Principal and the staff are all involved with the school activities. The Social Worker is great and you get a feel at this school that they know what they are doing. I am so glad that my child attends GH.
Grand Heights is a Kindergarten only school with the Artesia Public Schools in New Mexico. The principal and teachers at this school are very friendly and inviting. This is a super school.
Grand Heights is a school that is run very effficiently. The children are well behaved and they are engaged in learning activities. There is very much parental involvement and the children leave Grand Heights ready for First Grade. My child is at GH and she is reading. Almost ready for chaper books. Good Job Grand Heights..... and Thank you for a job well done.
The school has a lot to help parents get involved in the activites but it seems there could be some improvement with what he learned (which doesn't seem like much)
My son liked the school and the teachers were really nice but I do not feel he learned enough from it.
