I did not find this school to challenge my child. He started kindergarten knowing how to read and add double digit numbers. Unfortunately, the program is not individualized. So he started learning ABC and counting to 30, which he was already a pro at in preschool. So I found that he did not learn much or advance academically. We are moving to a different school district as Teaneck schools are not rated very high.

My son attended Bryant 'after' attending Bergenfield Montessori. I have to say, it was a real disappointment. He already knew a lot of the curriculum that was being 'introduced' at Bryant and was extremely bored in class as a result. He was already exposed to adding/subtraction and reading in PK4, and upon entering Bryant School for K, his classroom started with their 'ABCs', but he was already formulating basic sentences from his previous school just for an example. I felt he was not being challenged with the information he had already obtained and felt it was a waste of time making him sit there and 'repeat' lessons when it wasn't necessary. I pulled him out of Bryant and placed him back into Bergenfield Montessori where he belonged, as they are more advanced in their teachings and methods. Regardless of 'my' experience, it's good to see others are doing fine at Bryant.

My daughters went to this school. One graduated last year and the other in 1992. My youngest loved it! and she adored her teacher! and vise verse. She was like a second mom. I highly recommend this school to any parent. I wish I could say the same for the high school and the middle schools.

My daughter and me have had an excellent experience in Bryant as a result of her teacher, who was a great guide person and the parents were really involved.

My child excelled academically due to the efforts of her teacher and home. The 'new initiative' needs to be done away with since the school district does not have the money to hire a special education and general education certified teacher to be in the classroom. The principal is not child or parent friendly. The school lacks parental involvement.

This school will provide a great start for a style. There is an strong emphasis on reading and a high level of parent involvement. My son loved it and was well prepared for 1st grade.
