I have worked as a photographer in a great many preschools and day care centers. Harmony has consistently been attentive to student and parent needs while maintaining a professional staff who are motivated and caring. When considering a child care center to trust your most precious loved ones to, Harmony should be your only choice!
I am so sad to be leaving Harmony -- but unfortunately we are moving to another state. My daughter has been attending Harmony since infancy and I can't say enough about the staff, curriculum and overall program. They have not added sign language to the program and have a "mentor" teacher who goes into each classroom and teaches specialized subjects, depending on the age group; e.,g, sign language, phonics, and Spanish. My daughter loves to go there everyday and see not only her teachers, but the other staff members as well. We are always greeted with a personal "good morning" and "good night" which makes my daughter feel special. I will miss my Harmony friends, but will carry them forever in my heart.
My son attended Harmony for 3 years. The staff is attentive to the children's needs. His day was filled with various educational activities, outside play, computers, cooking and now they offer yoga. I never had a problem entering the building. When you enter you are in the lobby. The door to the main hallway is locked for the children's safety. Someone is always at the desk to let you in. They do not announce your arrival. Harmony has an open door policy. They also have a full time nurse on staff and nine individual classrooms. My child learned alot and is prepared for kindergarten. Thank you Harmony!!!
Great Day Care and Early Learning Center, both of our Kids went there , defintely great learning center , great teachers in Pre-K , we miss a lot
My days will be ending soon at Harmony. Both my children went through the program from Infants to Preschool. Harmony has prepared them for Kindergarten. The program is excellent! The Director is hands on and professional. The teachers are friendly and loving. I always felt secure leaving my children. They loved the school. We are going to miss Harmony!
I've had three children go through Harmony over the course of the last 10 years, the youngest finished last June. I could not be more pleased with this school for academics, care and safety.
My son was almost a year old when he came to this school. The school is bright and it has good facilities for toddlers. They have an activity room and toilet seats designed for potty training. They have developmental milestone program for my son's age group. However, the staff do not have the adequate time to take the kids to the activity room where they are supposed to do their creative activities. They also do not have an open-door policy. They will buzz you in to get inside, but they do not give out out the code to any parent. I didn't feel comfortable with the fact that they had to announce my arrival to the teacher whenever I drop in outside of my regular pick-up hours.
My daughters time at Harmony is coming to an end, and I am approaching this with bittersweet emotions. While she is growing up and that's a good thing, I will definately miss the time we had here. Harmony is an EXCELLENT daycare/Early learning center. You will not be disappointed. We began at another (more expensive) center in the area and left there due to excessive turnover and complete lack of learning. Harmony has been nothing but impressive since day 1. It is well managed. They have a caring staff and a real curriculum so your child is learning, not just playing all day. But have fun they do! Many activities are scheduled to keep kids happy & entertained. My child has grown and excelled during her time here. If they had a K-8, I'd put her in it! Thanks Harmony!
My child has been going to Harmony for three years now and I feel more comfortable leaving her with the staff of Harmony than my own family! Every day my kid amazes me with the stuff she learns at Harmony. She knew her colors, numbers and alphabet before any of my friends' kids who are much older. The staff is professional, friendly and most important - they genuinely care. I did a lot of research around the area and no daycare facility could compare to what Harmony offers. A secure, fenced-in playground, computer room, wet room and a LPN on staff are just a few of the many things that separate Harmony from the rest of the schools. My child is going to be so more advanced in public school thanks to Harmony's amazing curriculum. I cannot be happier with Harmony and I strongly recommend them to anyone thinking about daycare.
Harmony is an excellent center for childcare & pre-school learning. The facility is getting older now, but they do their best to keep it bright, clean & up to date. I mean a very good job. Toys/books that are broken are replaced, unlike many centers in our area. The staff work wonderfully together, and it shows in how they care for the children. The kids really learn WHILE having fun. It's an academic environment, but completely age appropriate. The center offers some very nice field trips that are optional. We've been very happy here.
