Parsippany Child Day Care Center

Pros: Very stable and caring staff. Most permanent employees have been there for years there has been no turnover in the 3 yrs my child has been there. Low (1:3) child/caregiver ratio in the rooms with the youngest children. Tuition covers meals & snacks & hours between 6:30 A & 6:30 PM. Nice playground areas for the kids. New director since last summer has made improvements to the facilities & has purchased new equipment for the children. The new director is much more responsive to parental comments & concerns. Cons: Biggest complaint is that the kids nap a long time (nap time is between 12 PM & 2:30 PM). The food could be healthier, but this has improved since the new director has been in place. I also wish they would start teaching kids "academic" skills, like recognizing their letters and numbers once they turn three. However, the kids get plenty of arts projects to work on, and are read books everyday during circle time. In the 3 year old room, they also take trips to the library & local high school for arts projects. Overall, this is a very good and nurturing center.

This school is terrible. Facilities are old and looks dirty. Too many misbehavious kids there. My poor little stay there for few weeks and got accidents every ither day.
