Both of my girls (4 years apart) attended RMS. One at the old location in Ridgewood, the other at the Paramus location. My oldest had a hard time transferring from her previous school, however, the teachers and administrators were extremely patient with her and eventually she came to love the school. Her self esteem and confidence level soared and by the time she moved on to kindergarten, there was not one tear - she was ready, both emotionally and more than ready academically. My younger child is currently attending the new location (which is amazing!) and she couldn't be happier. Academically she is so far ahead and she has developed a true love for learning. I am even more pleased than I was before and she loves going to school every day.

i really sorry to say, i was excite for my son going to Ridgewood Montessori School, but it was so dissapointed, their teachers are not enough prepared tto deal with littler kids who are experiencing being away from mama, in one my son experienced pain in on of his shoulder, my son told me that tteacher forced his shoulder very strong taking to classroom, i really try one month thinking my son is maybe inventing about it, i almost take him back for febraury , thanks director for montessori school for give the advise to bring him back in september, i went to another school and it was fantastic for the first day, with so much llove, care he is learning, he never complain pain on his shoulder and really adpted to his new school. with all my best wishes parents do not just think about the methods are enough for your kids is very important evaluate what kind of teachers they have.

I worked at RMS while attending college to become a Certified teacher. It was the best experience I've had. I've learned so many great teaching and learning tools to use in my own classroom. RMS has the best caring, loving, well-educated staff members. It was truly like working with family!! The children at RMS are extremely engaged in fun learning activities and seem to enjoy every bit of it. I love the involvement of parents within the school. It's a pleasure, as a teacher, to see parents and schools working together for the benefit of each child! RMS is the Greatest!!

I taught at RMS for 2 years and didnt understand how wonderful of a school it was until I left. Since leaving RMS and teaching at several other schools around the country, I will be lucky to find a school even half as wonderful.

I can't say enough positive things about this school. My daughter has attended for 3 years and is going back for a fourth to complete Kindergarten. My son just finished his first year. The teachers are wonderful and caring. It is Montessori done with extra love and care. Evelyn Mosher, the director, is a wonderful, loving person who sets a marvelous example for all the parents and children at the school.
