King of Kings School

My son loved this school experience. I am gladly signing up my younger son for next year. The staff was excellent. My son has adored his teachers. I would recommend this school to anyone.

King of Kings is the perfect 1st time school experience you would want for your children. The classrooms are cozy and bright. The teachers particularly for the 2 1/2 year olds are warm and loving, they helped ease both of my girls through the transition. My eldest daughter is now in her 3rd year here and has enjoyed every class. Her current teacher,who just started at this school this year is superb with such great ideas for the year. I have no doubt my daughter will be ready for kindergarten. The focus of this school is more on learning through thoughtful play lessons than grilling with flash cards which is just what we wanted their 1st school year experiences to be. I would hope that those reading would not be discouraged about the review regarding a teacher that left abruptly, that could happen at any job and certainly is not typical.

The quality of this school varied greatly depending on the teacher. Some of very good; others are not. Others *were* very good but you can tell that their hearts are no longer with it. My son had a great year last year. There was an issue in another class where the teacher left right before the school year ended (Spring '05.) At the time, I thought this was an isolated incident but now that he is in his second year, I realize that the quality of classes is not consistant. If my son wasn't so attached to his friends I would change schools.
