This is a private nursery that takes children from ages two and a half to 4 over three years. The classes are no more than 15 and range from 2 hours to all day. The curriculum is based on "learning through play". The emphasis is on getting the children to think independently and express their thoughts and feelings through play. The organization is a Cooperative. Parents are expected to take an active part in the running of the school by being assigned to a committee. They are also mandated to be a classroom helper at least eight times a school year. The staff are the main strong point of the Nursery. All are dedicated and provide children with a positive nurturing environment. They are all experienced child care professionals.
