Although St. John's seemed to be the 'place to go' according to many stay-at-home moms in the Two Rivers area, my family had a very negative experience there. We found that supervision on the playground and during unstructured times was horrible - the teachers were more intereted in socializing with each other than in interacting with the children. There was no communication between our children's teachers and our family, and we didn't feel that the teachers knew (or cared to know) our children as individuals. And even though we were not looking for an 'academic' preschool, we found the activities/projects to be unstimulating and of low quality. When we finally decided to leave the school, the director didn't even have the courtesy to ask why. We have spoken with several other families who have similar concerns about St. John's, and we would definitely not recommend the school.
