Holmdel Preschool

The teachers rotate way too fast at this school. Most of the teachers are young girls hired off Craigslist. There are a lot of hidden fees that are not mentioned at registration. You have to provide school supplies for your child from hand soap to copy paper! They advertise on the high end education but with such a high teacher turnover the children do not get a chance to concentrate and and learn. I know of 2 children who were pulled out of this school in 2011.

such a happy place. The administration is understanding and works with each child on an individual basis academically, socially, emotionally and even offers financial assistance when needed. the staff is very well prepared to give the best each day. The school is quite innovative and my children have an outstanding experience there. The skills the have gained both socially and intellectually have surpassed my expectations at every level. The baby program is wonderful and each week you get a dvd of all the things they have done that week! Ca't say enough good things about them.

Great staff...but very expensive. There are a lot of hidden fees. There is not a microwave or fridge, and hot lunch is $4 a day. It is a good school, but unless you got money and don't mind being surprised with raising cost, then this is the place for you. In my opinion I feel the parents are being taken advatange of of.

I would never, ever send my preschooler here. I went to visit the school today. The facilities are nice, the people are kind, but the three year olds are doing dittos all day, and there are no toys in the classrooms. They expect three year olds to read and write, and there is no free play at all. The art projects are all exactly alike, because the school feels there is a "right" and "wrong" way to do art. It was horrific. If you want your kids to hate school by the time they are five, send them there.

My child has thoroughly enjoyed her experience at Holmdel Preschool. At her older school she was not communicating with us and generally did not want to go in the morning. She was very unhappy so we looked for another school and we found this one. It's like someone turned on a light bulb over her head and a big smile on her face. Everyday she says its was a thumbs up day to me, tells me what she did in school, she is having so much fun and at the same time learning and soaking up everything this GREAT school has to offer. Teachers are caring and intelligent, great role models for the kids. The director is top notch, she cares so much for the kids and wears that on her sleeve. I would recommend this school to any of my friends or family that needed a school for their child.
