Palisades Country Day School

My daughter had an outstanding experience at Palisades Country Day School. Through their guidance, she developed a sense of independence that left her very prepared for Kindergarten. She also had a wonderful experience with the "Meet the Masters" program. The class opened her eyes t the wonderful world of art. She can identify Picasso, O'keefe, Matisse and Monet just to name a few.

We sent our child to the Spring School for a year. What a mistake. He had trouble writing and such, Director was a nightmare, etc. We found this little gem not too much further down the road in Closter, NJ. My son is flourishing here. He has taken the practical principles of learning has truly excelled in the school. The administraion is great and the teachers are wondersful. My son has Hs. Haar. What a great person and dedicated teacher. My son loves her and his trust in her has lead to great strides in his confidence and social well being. Palisade encourages parent/ teacher interation and they often invite parents into the school environment. The Halloween parade was marvelous. Night and day from Spring. I love this school and would recommend it to anyone. A+++

School of excellent standards! Wonderful teachers in particular Mrs. Guerra which a group of us mommies would love to have her as a teacher in every class room. She brings enthusiasm to every thing she sets out to do. In addition Mrs. Guerra has a great following of parents. Palisades keep up the stupendous job! Bravo!!!!

PCDC teachers are rude in the way they speak to the students, they lecture to 3-year olds, and the pre-k kids have math and phonics workbooks, which goes against everything taught in early childhood education classes at the premier universities in NYC.
