Somersworth Early Learning Center

Low tuition rates, but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! My children who were 1 and 3 attended this school for a very short time and it was horrific. The staff was not attentive to their needs. They spent most of the time outside in a sandy area were they did not learn anything and came home filthy everyday. My son who was in diapers had a horrible allergic reaction on his leg and his leg swelled up twice the size as usual and no one noticed or notified me. He had to be rushed to the ER when I picked him up, and the next day the teachers advised me they had not noticed. The office staff kept telling me the wrong tuition amounts, so I ended up with a neverending balance. I was also brought to small claims court for a balance under $100 for their billing errors. I also have co-workers who have horror stories including their children being covered in fleas from the lovely sandy play area, and another child being bitten by a snake while not being properly supervised. Please visit ANY other childcare in the seacoast before enrolling your children here.

My family LOVES Somersworth Early Learning Center. I went back to work when my daughter was 8 months old, and the staff and director of SELC made this transition so easy for us. Our daughter's teachers really got to know her, learned her needs, likes, and dislikes, and were sad to see her move up into the 1-2 year old's room! I couldn't say better things about this daycare, and the best thing is, my daughter loves it and doesn't even want to leave at the end of the day. I feel really lucky that we found this gem!

My child attends SELC school age program and I have been very pleased. The teachers are very friendly and seem to really enjoy having my child at their center. I like that my child is walked to and from school safely..
