My two children attend this school--I couldn't more happy with what I see when I drop off and pick up. My 3 yr old gets to explore at his own pace in the classroom and has made lots of new friends. He loves the swim lessons! My 4-yr old loves the indoor playground and the gym class. Today she told me on the way to school how to spell 'cow'. And she is FOUR. This year they've done the hot lunch program this year which makes my life SO much easier! My kids love their teachers, and I can't WAIT for my daughter to be in the Kindergarten next year. So much is included in this program...one of these days we'll use the membership that comes with it (good old new year's resolution to exercise!!)
i enrolled my son there and all the activities swim, gym all seemed great but once enrolled I soon discovered that the teachers are not only NOT friendly but have nothing positive to say about the children, They dont greet the children in the am.they never smile and everyone seems so military. I am so disappointed with the staff! Very cold and miserable.. and my son has changed for the worse since enrolled there.. ! do ure self a favor and bring your child somewhere else!
In May I received a tour of the facility and found it to be very child friendly, organized, and clean. They feed them a healthy breakfast each morning which makes getting out the door much easier. They also feed them two snacks and have recently hired a company to bring hot nutritious lunches for $2 a day. Some of the weekly activities include weekly swim classes, public speakers, walks to the Palace Theater for plays, walks to the museum, and a field trip to farm. This month they will be taking them apple picking (all these activities for no extra cost).Unlike the home daycare they previously attended, the children don t watch TV, they have stories read to them daily, use computers, and have a lot of physical activities which include time in the gym and playing outside. The kindergarten class even has a little homework. I am very happy!
This program seemed great on paper and when I toured the school I thought it seemed good but after enrolling my 3 year old son here I relized it was a bad decision. The yell at the children leave them unattended and they provided no positive reinforment. I dedided to remove my child and after giving two weeks notice the day before his last day they called me saying he wouldn't stay in the classroom. This is a open concept the only place he could go was into the lobby and why wasn't that door shut. I have gone in during nap time to see the entire staff in the directors office while the kids are closed into a room alone. this is the entire daycare unattended. Please do not learn the hard way like I did.
