The school deserves all the credit that I've given in my ratings. The resources offered to my famiy and my son were wonderfully helpful. His teacher's attentiveness to his IEP and my son as an individual were excellent. His teacher was always updating me on his progress, as well as, working with me on ensuring he received the help/testing he needed. Teacher-aides were exceptional. Principal was always available and responsive to parents concerns. The only category I rated lower was in Safety & Discipline-however, this was not based on the school itself, just the building. My son attended MDP at Auburn Street, the outside sidewalks are not what they should be, especially for a school that has many children attending that may have special physical needs. The fact that the city doesn't offer a crossing guard for the preschool is shameful. So, overall it's just a poor location and setup. The accomplishments of this school should merit more attention from the City of Manchester.
