My daughter attends school here and will be going back next year. We love the environment of her first school setting. She was encouraged to learn and grow at her own pace. The teacher was caring and very attentive to her needs, helping her learn to express herself and interact with the other children. I loved that this school focusing on the social aspect of learning and encourages learning through discovery and play. What a wonderful start to 18 years of school!.
My daughter has gone to LCNS and absolutely loved it. My sons are currently enrolled and absolutely love it. Preschool is for learning through play and adventure. LCNS and the teacher hit a home run when it comes to finding fun ways for 3 - 5 yr olds to learn about their world and each other in a nurturing, supportive, communal way. From walks in the woods to 'trips' around the world, the experience has been priceless. Not to mention the wonderful friends you make through parental involvement.
What a simple concept, to teach the kids while they think they are just having fun. I had so much fun in the class I put my name on the sub list because I enjoyed it so much! I couldn't wait to get into the class and see what the teacher had planned for the day. I also met the best MOMS! They were great and we plan on spending the summer getting together in anticipation of our next year together!
My daughter and I loved this school... We felt the focus was perfect for preschoolers - nature, socialization, open centers, sharing, outdoor play, arts & crafts & activities based around thematic units. I loved receiving a monthly newsletter that kept our family informed of the daily happenings. The teacher has years of experience, and thoroughly understands the development of preschoolers. She was able to teach my daughter many skills throughout the year, and further instill a love of nature. She has a calm, quiet manner, and is able to give each child what he or she needs, while guiding, encouraging, and teaching them. To be part of a cooperative preschool was truly beneficial for my daughter and our family, as we all loved being a part of her education. We have met many wonderful families here that will be friends for life. I highly suggest this school, and I am looking forward to next year already!!
What a great year for my child! I loved all the learning centers that focused on so many areas. I know each day there were activities planned to focus on physical development, social/emotional development, creative expression, cognitive development, and communication and literacy. The best part was the teachers was able to make it all look like play. The kids are learning so much and yet all they know is they are having fun!
WE LOVE LEE CO_OP~ The moms are awesome to work with! I wouldn't trade this experience for anything... for my child or myself.
we've had a totally positive experience at the school. The first visit my daughter had a great time and didn't want to leave. She loves the school and the teacher.
This will be our second year at the coop and have had a positive experience! My child has developed a deeper love for nature while learning. The teacher is very loving and patience with the children. It can't get any better!
My son loves the teacher! She is warm and very proficient. Parents play a roll in how classes go. Perhaps people who don't want to take a real part in the creative classroom process should look elsewhere.
We are also a family who has left the preschool due to dissatisfaction with the teacher. I'm a big fan of the cooperative approach to preschool. I love the parent involvement. But this school is in dire need of a new teacher. It is sad for our district because quality, affordable preschools are hard to come by. If this school had a top-notch teacher, it would get 5 stars.
