My husband and I have had to step in and raise our grand children. I had them enrolled at another daycare and was not at all happy. I called Donna, the owner, frantic about what was going on and explained that since I had already paid my share, I get State reimbursement, that it would be 2 weeks till I could pay her anything. She explained, that yes this was her income, how her bills got paid, but she does this for the kids. She said I could enroll them immediately and she would not charge me my share. I honestly cried. They have been attending since Oct 2011 and I couldn't be happier! Both children have been through alot but my 4 year old has had it the hardest, we have guardianship for a reason, and he is loved for where he is at not for where they feel he should be at. I know he is a challenge but they work with him and actually hired an assistant to help him socially. I am so grateful for all of them. My little girl is blossoming in the infant room and has developed by leaps and bounds since she began. I love ALL the teachers and Mary the Director just as much as Donna. I would recommend The Learning Path to anyone wanting a home away from home for your kids.
Our Daughter attends The Learning Path of Salem. The love and care she receives is amazing. We know everyday that we leave her she is safe, loved and educated to her fullest potential
We can't believe how much our daughter has learned since we enrolled her in The Learning Path in April of 2009. The small teacher to student ratio allows them to provide a structured learning environment where students receive special attention. Not only is she learning her ABC's, her numbers, the days of the week, the months of the year and how to sing many songs, she is also learning important life skills such as sharing, making friends, being respectful and following direction. We are very impressed with the school for many reasons and highly recommend that any parent who needs childcare services to please visit this school. You will be very satisfied with the teachers, the administrators and the overall environment and atmosphere. We wish we had started our daughter there even earlier than we did! - Jake and Sherene Lague, parents of 2 1/2 year old girl
Thankfully, we found The Learning Path in 2006 for our 2 boys. We had been at another preschool the year before that did not compare to The Learning Path. We immediately felt at home in the warm, bright, nurturing, and loving environment. One of the many things we love about The Learning Path is the staff that teach there. Unlike most centers, there is very little turn over in staff. The teachers are incredible! Our youngest son is in Pre-k and we have been so pleased with his accomplishments this year. The curriculum has been developmentally appropriate and interesting for him. Last year he was struggling with his speach and was stuttering constantly. The owner, director, and his classroom teacher were all so understanding and helpful. They were willing to incorporate new strategies into the classroom to help our son feel more comfortable and become more successful. Roseann M Derry, NH 1st Grade
Hi! I am the owner of The Learning Path. We invite you to visit and see for yourself what a great place for children we are. We welcome all types of children into our program, offering an age-appropriate academic pre school environment. Our goal is to support and encourage children as they experience their first years of school. Staff development and continuing education for our teachers is constant. Our experienced and dedicated teaching staff encourages, supports, and nurtures the indidual child, while developing relationships with families. Communication is the foundation of our success. Call for an individualized tour, meet the staff, and observe our classrooms. You will quickly agree that we are committed, enthusiastic, and 'crazy' for and about children! Full and part time is available! We hope to see you soon! Donna Hajjar/Owner
My child went to this school a few years ago, because she was identified through our school district. I didnt find them very accomadating to my child's special needs. I would'nt reccommend them then, I'm hopeful that they have altered their styles to meet the need of the children in their care.
I am not happy with the school. I found out that they do not care about children with special needs and will not make accomodations because of a special needs child. Many of the children are not challenged with learning. And if a child needs extra help in learning, it is not given. If I could afford a different or better school, I would change in a second. The only reason we chose it was location and cost. These people care not for the children, just for the money. They need more computers and their playground is covered in sand instead of kinder care products. They deter any PTA organization saying that some families cannot afford to be a part of anything.
