Educational philosophy and approach to learning New Morning Schools is a play-based, nurturing and inclusive school environment. We believe in helping our youngest children negotiate the daily challenges they face. While children have a great deal of choice and opportunity to play in our program, we also provide structure to help students become comfortable in the school environment. Our goal is for students to love school and continue to love learning.

Math skills development New Morning Schools follows a hands-on approach to math skill development. Our students love exploring math concepts!

Reading skills development New Morning Schools works with each student on his/her reading skills as they naturally develop. We are eager to help, but will not pressure a child.
Typical day and activities Students in our Preschool-Kindergarten program have playtime inside and outside each day. They also have a snack. Academically, they have language arts, math, and science lessons. We follow the major themes of the calendar year to enhance our curriculum.

Parent involvement details New Morning Schools uses many different forms of communication with parents. Our teachers are always available for a conversation. More general information is posted on our Facebook page, website and shared through monthly newsletters that a specific to each program. We also have parent meetings at the beginning of the school year in our Preschool-Kindergarten programs.
Approach to addressing and preventing bullying New Morning Schools actively teaches students to be kind and respectful of all people. We address student's potential problematic behaviors through conversations with the child and parents.
