Our child was potty training and we were told she would be in a classroom w/ other 2 yr olds who were potty training. We toured the room, met the teacher and students & all was good. A week before my daughter was to start school, we dropped off the initial payment and forms just to be told that someone had made a mistake & that she would be in a different classroom. We were a little bothered, but decided to make the best of it & toured the 2nd room. On the day my daughter started this daycare we were told AGAIN that she was put in the wrong room by mistake & she would have to be in yet another classroom where there was no potty training!! We had no choice as my husband & I were heading off to work that day but we were livid. The teacher assured us that our child would be taken to potty only if she asked. We spoke with the director who was apologetic but asked us to give it a chance. So we did. Huge mistake, my daughter asked repeatedly to go "Potty" and her words were disregarded. She regressed in her potty training & here we are 2 weeks after pulling her out of that daycare & still struggling to get her back on track with potty training. I would not recommend this place!

Mistakes were made with our classroom & our child was put in a different classroom than the original one we visited. In the end, our child had Ms. Kimmie (15month to 24 month old classroom). Each day of the only week our child spent there, the daily report had the same times for 'applied sunscreen' and nap time and what she ate. The daily reports were almost a carbon copy of one another. It made us feel like we really had no clue what was really taking place. For some of us parents, those daily reports are a big deal & should be as close to accurate as possible. We only kept our child there a week because of this and because there was really no learning taking place (at least in this classroom).

My family moved to Summerlin last summer and we initially enrolled our 3 year old daughter in a different Preschool/Daycare. However, the experience was horrible and after doing some research found Shadow Hills. We took a tour with the Director and were immediately impressed. We switched our daughter that day and have been happy ever since. The teachers are fabulous and the kids in my daughters class are all really sweet and well behaved. The school even organized a fun Valentines Day Daddy Daughter Dance which my daughter and I attended. My wife and I had a new baby in December and have since enrolled her in the babies room. It's been the same great experience for her as well. Highly recommend this school.

My daughter has been going to SH since she was 4 months old, she now is almost 3. Every teacher my daughter has had has been amazing! Ms. Janet is so compassionate, understanding, a god send. Ms. Tina, Ms. Tanna, Ms. Olivia, Ms. Syndey, are just a few of the great teachers my daughter has had (I know I'm leaving out a few -- I'm so sorry) but honestly all the staff are exceptional. The environment is very clean, all the staff are open and honest about recommendations (potty training tips, naps, bottle weaning, terrible two's, ect) I feel like they are almost like our second family! We drive 20 miles round trip, across town to take our daughter here, I wouldn't change it otherwise. If you thought about taking your child to SH, please do, you will not regret it, in fact you will fall in love like the rest of us.

P-H-E-N-O-M-E-N-A-L ! After moving to Henderson we drove 20 miles, 4 times a day, 5 days a week, for 6 months to keep our precious girl there. It was well worth it. The love they show for the kids is unmatchable. To 'Ms. Janet' and her wonderful family of teachers and staff - we love you and will never forget you...;)

I taught dance here for five years. This is hands down the best preschool. I am now a stay home mother of a two year old, even though the school is across town I am planning on enrolling my son. I love the teachers, Ms Janet and trust this school completely.

My son attended Shadow Hills Preschool at ages 3 and 4 and was reading, counting to 100 and writing upper and lower case letters before he went to Kindergarten. I highly recommend this school. Our younger son just started his second year and is doing great!

Both of my children attended this school and if they taught grades past kinder, my children would still be there. Other private school kindergartens might have a stronger emphasis on academics but you can't match the love and compassion your child receives at SH. The teachers and staff teach about God's love and word and the director Ms. Janet is the closest thing to a saint that you'll find on Earth!

The best decision we could have made for our daughter was sending her to SH. I feel my daughter is truly cared for and about.

Our daughter has attended SH for 3 years. The experience has been a parent's best dream. The staff is amazing! The atmosphere is loving and nurturing, and the kids and parents are great. I could never say enough positive things about SH. I wish the school went through high school.

Ms Janet and Ms Krissy helped me to get my daughter in after a terrible experience at her previous school left us without daycare. We had been on the waiting list. That spirit of caring has continued since we enrolled. My daughter's teacher is Ms Sara and she is the warmest, kindest, most patient teacher you could ask for. The classes are small and well run. The children are taught compassion and morals in addition to challenging school work. They are very creative in the many fun activities and themes such as camping week and water day. My daughter really looks forward to going to school and the other parents are very friendly and involved. The school is extremely clean and well maintained. The children are happy and well behaved. In a year, I only know of one staff member leaving. I have recommended this school to everyone I know.

My daughter has been attending Shadow Hills for 4 years now. She loves and is loved by the teachers and staff. Class size is optimal but there is a wait call early to get on the list. The price is right. Well worth the money paid. Because it's only PK-K, I wish there was an elementary school. I would send my daughter to this school until she graduated from High School if that was an option. The environment for the kids is warm and friendly. The teachers and staff always greet the children. It makes them feel special and that's how they're treated...special. The christian environment is excellent. If you want to raise your child in an atmosphere of love, cooperation and integrity...send your child here. The education is excellent. My kindergartener gets the kind of training for 1st grade that I'd expect from a private school. Take my advice and enroll your child early!
