We had our daughter in a large daycare for months before Mimi had a spot open. I will never forget the relief that came with leaving my baby with her and leaving the place we were previously at. It is almost 3 years later and it has been wonderful. I get great satisfaction in knowing that I am leaving my daughter with a woman that treats her like family. Mimi takes pride in what she does and gets emotionally invested in the kids she cares for and without this she would be a poor child care provider. My daughter is taught at Mimi s and not thrown in front of a TV, she goes outside and feels loved what more can you ask for? When we have our second, I am going to try to manage my pregnancy around Mimi s schedule to ensure a spot for my second.

My children love going to Miss Mimi's Daycare. I would highly recommend this daycare. I like having someone that puts my children's needs first. As for the comment a parent posted belowt below I don't believe its a valid comment. If I were friend or relative to someone that doesn't guarantee you an automatic positive review. " I personally know that there are kids that attend her house whose parents are friends with Mimi so I would take the 'positive' comments as for what it is worth."

I use to take my kids to Mimi daycare and pulled them out. I went there for a few years and both my husband and I were constantly being attacked by Mimi. One year we were unable to attend a christmas party for the kids because I had family in town and she attacked me verbally. She even called me at home and yelled at me and hung up on me. I don't consider this professional at all. On serveral other occasions she has made insults about my husband and me to other parents. I personally know that there are kids that attend her house whose parents are friends with Mimi so I would take the 'positive' comments as for what it is worth.

My children both attend Mimi's daycare and absolutely love her! She has a great area set up in her basement where the kids can play and do some pre-school type activities. Unfortunately, Mimi has had to deal with some ridicuous parents lately who have personal vendettas. I would love to be able to stay home with my kids but can't. I wouldn't send them anywhere else. She treats them as if they were her own. She holds a Christmas party every year, brings in Santa and invites all of the families. The kids do projects, play outside, and get lots of individual attention. I believe this 'aggressive behavior to parents' comes from the issues the parents themselves have. Mimi is always looking out for the best of the children - and this is what is most important.

I would not recommend Mimi Lonergan as a daycare provider. I have seen her bully and critize parents behind their backs and speak negative of parents in front of their own children. Since being there, I have seen three parents pull their children out of her daycare because of this attitude and her agressive behavior to parents.

My kids attended Miss Mimi's daycare for years before we moved out of state. We really miss her. The kids had a great time and learned a lot. We considered Mimi to be a part of the family!
