LOVE LOVE LOVE CLC. We struggled finding a preschool for my child. I went fro being a stay at home mom to having to go back to work. This was extremely hard on me and my daughter finding a place we could trust and that would give the attention she was used to getting. It took a few weeks for her to fully adjust and to become her normal "chatty kathy" self, but she is happy as can be. She comes home singing new songs, talking about her friends and happy to discuss her day. I love CLC and would rate them the best preschool in Omaha. Thanks for all you do CLC.
My child went here for eight years. We loved the staff and met some wonderful life long friends. My child was taught everything they needed to be prepared for kidnergarden and had the confidence to feel comfortable around other kids in elementary school. The staff became like family. We were able to trust them and know they truly care for my child like they would their own. I would recommend this place with all my heart. We had tried a few day cares before we found creative learning center and none compare.
I love CLC. As a teacher and parent their I know this preschool is wonderful. We spend time educating the children unstead of just entertaining them all day. As far as use of tv , refering to the comment posted prior. This is extremely limited and used to calm the children down after lunch time and or for the last half hr the daycare is open. The children are allowed to read a book quietly and or work on homework if they would prefer. Compared to most child care places and or homes, that is nothing! We truly treat each child with love and respect and get to know them. We understand they are here more hours a day than they are at home and they need to be educated, loved and to have fun. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Creative Learning Center has been operating for almost 20 years. Many of the staff have been there for most of that time. It is so nice to be able to take my child to a preschool/daycare that I know the same faces will be there day after day, year after year. The structure is great. It way the preschoolers all rotate classrooms and teachers throughout the day makes the transition to kindergarten so easy. Their preschool-graduation is awesome: It was even featured in the Omaha World Herald a year ago! Over the years I have told all of my friends how great it is and many of my friends bring their children there as well. We love it at Creative Learning Center.
Through the years it has lost the appeal it once had - not sure why. For the younger kids it is ok - but not a big fan of the preschool on up. The use of TV and frequent rotating rooms give sense of lack of structure and not a lot of value to the children who need consistency. The younger staff engage well with children.
