My son is leaving DLC after 3 years and he is more than prepared for Kindergarten. My daughter is starting this fall in her first year. The only negative thing I have to say about the school is the day doesn't last long enough! They love it and don't want to leave. My son actually cried and threw a fit the first couple of times I picked him up from school because he wanted to stay! We love this school and would recommend it to anyone. They love and care for your children as if they were their own. I volunteered to help take over the teacher appreciation for next year because I love these teachers so much and because they are so amazing with my kids! I highly recommend DLC to anyone considering preschool, even for a 2 year old, even though it is scary.

My active 'all-boy' son has been a DLC student for two years. The first year was great and he had a fantastic teacher who recognized his strengths and weaknesses and taught him accordingly. She often supplemented material for him because he also happened to be a quick learner. The second year, however, was quite a different experience. The next teacher expected the active boys to be still and quiet for long lengths of time. She was not proactive and was unable to challenge our son. As a result, our son ended up being quite bored and frustrated and did not like going to DLC that year. DLC has both fantastic teachers and, unfortuantely, a couple of not-so-great teachers. DLC overall seems geared more for compliant, quite natured children.

If you can imagine every possible thing you would want in a preschool for your child, DLC exceeds it. I was worried how my daughter, who had never been in any kind of preschool or daycare, would react to the program, but enrolling her was one of the best decisions I've made. Every day she comes home with writing and reading exercises they did in class, and the special craft projects are amazing. They have P.E. twice a week, Mondays are Show-and-Tell, and Wednesdays are 'Science Day.' She came home last week talking about how our pupils get bigger in the dark and smaller in the light---in Preschool! The safety of the children is paramount; the doors are always secure and there is a special drop-off and pick-up routine that ensures reliability. My little shy girl wakes up begging to go!

My daughter loves it at DLC! As a teacher myself, I can attest that they stay very up to date and create a great mix of academics and socialization. I would recommend this school to anyone!

The teachers and staff were wonderful! My daughter, who attended kindergarten here, was reading on a second grade level by the end of the year. She enjoyed and thrived in the DLC environment.

My daughter went to school here for 3 years. I think that they have done and excellent job and that she will have a head start on all the children in her first grade class. All of the teachers at the school are very helpful and the one on one attention that they give to each student is amazing. Thanks for all your help the last three years
