Kirkwood Early Childhood Center

The leadership staff at KECC will not take input from parents. I have twins and was informed that at age 4 they would be split up. When I asked why wasn't consulted in something I view as primarily my decision, was told by the principal that there was NO NEED TO GET YOUR INPUT ONCE THE DECISION WAS MADE. Really! I put my twins in much cheaper Catholic school and found they actually learned a little Spanish and the alphabet. This school has a nice building but it is WAY overpriced and run by people not interested in parent's input.

KECC is exceeding my expectations on every level. I had no idea pre-school could be so great. The teachers and staff go above and beyond. They are creative, fun, smart and never make you feel like you have a bad child. Very caring, loving environment. Highly recommend it.

The Kirkwood School district is the top in St. Louis for a reason. Kirkwood only hires the best. My son has an IEP and this school exceeded all of our expectations. My son has been excited to go to school every single day since he started 1 1/2 ago. He love the teachers, and therapists. Even the therapists my son does not have talk to him and to me everytime I see them. This school has a wonderful, caring environment. The PTO is very strong here also. The parents at this school are extremely involved. I can not say enough great things about this school.

My daughter attended pre-school *age4-5 and our experience couldn't have been better. She is in 1st grade and still wants to go see her teacher and she thinks her friends are there. The teachers and staff are truly exceptional and there were absolutely no problems..lots of learning and love. Kirkwood School District is the best in St. Louis!!
