I love this center. My children have attended for the past few years and I have never been anything but happy. The teachers are kind and considerate and love my children. My children learn new things all the time and the managers are avalable all the time. Every teacher at Tutor Time knows my children and have a friendly smile for them each morning. I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience at Tutor Time

I cannot tell you how much I HATE this school. maybe things have changed since we attended, I hope. When my daughter went she hated everyday, I drove to work crying everyday. The last straw was a day when I went to pick her up early. She was alone in the corner crying. When i asked the lead teacher why she was alone in the corner crying she told me "I told her is she was going to cry, she could go sit in the corner so she wouldn't disrupt the rest of us." Needless to say I pulled my daughter from the school. That was years ago but she still remembers it! Whenever we pass by the school she says "that's the school where they were mean to me."

My children have been attending this center for about 2 years. I would recommend this center to anyone who wants a place that they know their children will not only be well cared for, but educated as well. My children come home and actually teach me new things! The parent -teacher communication is great and I always feel welcome at the center. But importantly my children are happy and that makes me happy!

Our two kids are not of school age yet but judging Tutor Time simply as a daycare facility I must say this operation is top-notch. Everything is published--the daily food menues, special events, classmate's birthdays--even a child's current day's activities are summarized on a daily report submitted to the parents. Given that Tutor Time is a franchise, there obviously is a dictated curriculum but it never seems forced. We are often surprised by the things that our young children have learned in a day. This establishment knows the value of enriching the soul, expanding the mind, enlightening the spirit, and nourishing and exercising the body. The staff are loving people whom we trust to care for our children.

My child goes to school with two children who attend this daycare center. One is a little boy and one is a little girl. The little boy comes in EVERY day with snot literally ALL over his face...his coat undone (no matter how cold the weather) and his boots/shoes on the wrong feet and untied. He has stated he wasn't given lunch more than a few times. I realize there is no substitute for a mother's love or careful eye, but with the money his parents are paying, you'd think they could at least wipe the kid's nose and be sure he didn't fall over untied laces from shoes on the wrong feet. I'd NEVER considered using that place!

I love the small child to teacher ratio in the classroom. The teacher is very knowledgeable and is great at helping each child learn at their own pace. The kids who participate in the private Kindergarten leave well prepare for 1st grade. The center offers gymnastics, Spanish and a music class. Parent events are held at least once a month and the school has an open door policy.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
