With a daycare center like this that has locations open for 21 years, there are no doubt many happy and satisfied parents. I'm not one of them. On only the 3rd day, my daughter went to daycare in the morning just fine and came home with the flu. She required hospitalization for 8 days for this severe illness and even developed pneumonia along the way. The issue I have is even with an established sickness policy which we found out about later, this daycare is very lenient it seems. Another baby appeared to be dropped off in the morning very sick, but was not sent home. In only half a week towards the end of winter, we received 2 health notices about children in my daughter's room being diagnosed with Fifth Disease and Conjunctivitis. The daycare didn't even send a 3rd notice to inform other parents after we informed the daycare that our daughter was diagnosed with the flu. Needless to say, we immediately pulled her out after she was hospitalized. My hope is my experience can help others to make a more informed decision about childcare and, specifically, this daycare.

NGCC is a good school. We have a 3 year old in pre-K and a 14-month old whose been in the infant rooms. We transferred to NGCC from out-of-state several months ago because it's conveniently located and offered the most competitive prices around for the level of service we wanted. The main teachers have been great with the kids and with keeping us informed. We reallly enjoyed Sheila in the infant room whose been there for several years and Lauren in the pre-K program. I really credit them for helping smooth the transition to a new school. They've also been flexible as we've adjusted our work schedules. My kids love the music program and the play spaces, both inside and outside. It's also nice that they offer breakfast in the morning (if you have to get to work early) and a late snack in the afternoon (to hold the kids over during the after-work commute).
All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness,
which includes important information like contact details and test scores.
It’s up to the school community to take the next steps.
As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families
by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers.
As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs,
and more with an Official school profile.
The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL
as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo,
and 9 program questions parents find helpful.
