My daughter has been very happy at TECC. She loves her teachers and the support staff, and really enjoys the art, music and library programs. I appreciate that even in a half-day program, the teachers are able to help each child work to their own abilities. I am able to volunteer in the classroom, so I have been able to see firsthand how the class runs. My daughter is very sad that she is leaving Kindergarten soon... My only concern is that the security at the main entrance is a little light at dismissal time. The children are supposed to wait in the office until their parent arrives to pick them up, but there does not appear to be anyone monitoring this.
We are very unhappy. There is no homework, parents are not allowed to visit without appts on odd days (not welcome during normal hours). My child learns nothing. All dittos. Art is all paperplates. Staff are not in room too much of the time: lunch, playground etc.
