We relocated to Tewksbury in December of 2008. My son had previously attended an excellent Montessori preschool program. My husband and I were hesitant to pursue more traditional preschool programs but took a chance when we enrolled our 4yo in pre-k at Building Blocks. We have been incredibly pleased with the curriculum offered at Building Blocks. Our son loves school, loves his teacher and comes home everyday with a new song, letter, number or experience to share. We really do believe that Building Blocks has provided the foundation for an early love of learning.
This is an amazing preschool. My daughter has been attending for the past 2 years and I can't wait for my son to be old enough to attend. She loves going to school in the morning and complains when I collect her early! The children have lots of fun while they learn. They teach the children good manners and how to get along with their peers. The director Mrs. McCarthy is a wonderful lady, full of old fashioned common sense!!. The teachers are kind and loving, but take no nonsense from the children.
