I thought this school was the best option for my children. Unfortunately I was wrong. The director Brenda Powers is all about protecting herself but wonders why her staff continuously leave. Great staff that the kids needed. The staff are under paid, not responsible and have the tendency to neglect the children at times. When you come in to get your child at the end of the day, don't you expect that whoever the teacher is there should know where your child is and not say, I'm not sure. That has happened plenty of times. Brenda also is not reliable in making sure a situation is settled or challenges you as a parent. She also has a way of trying to make you feel like nothing was their fault when situation occur and mention things that made you finally realize, your kids are not safe. I did love some teachers and appreciated the ones that truly showed their passion but couldn't stand working under this lady any longer. I completely understand why. They need to replace her. the teacher at fault of a situation that could have ended in tragedy and replace them with people that actually care and want to be there, for the children. At the end of the day, the children are all that matters.
Nazareth Child Care Center is beyond amazing. My son has PTSD and RAD and he has been able to flourish in a regular class room. They are patient, kind, go above and beyond. The Director Brenda Powers is absolutely a gem, a rare one at that. The hours are fabulous 7 to 530 and the cost is more than reasonable
We were on the waiting list for this school for 2 years. Now both my children go here and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the diversity, the great activities: walks to the arboretum, visits to the firehouse and local parks), the can do attitude, great potty training, and the excellent teachers. Pam and Brenda (Directors) are fantastic too. The only thing I would say is that the waiting list was long...but worth it!
