My oldest daughter has been at the Early Learning Center for two years, first in the extended day pre-K program and now in the Caminos Kindergarden program. My wife and I have been thrilled by the school -- though we have high standards, my daughter is leaps and bounds ahead of where we expected her to be (and frankly, having just sat through a pint-sized lecture on Spanish pronunciation rules, ahead of us in some areas!). And she's excited to wake up and get to school each day, which is wonderful to see. The programming is designed to accomodate a wide range of parental needs (early morning dropoff / part day / full day / extended day options). And the staff go out of their way to be receptive and welcoming to parents, from the administration, which has made parent council open to all parents, to the individual teachers, who bend over backwards to invite parents in to see what they're doing. I'm pleased to say that my youngest just made it through the lottery process to attend preK as a 4 year old next year. If you're considering where to send your child, I believe you'll be thrilled by the ELC. And if anyone from the ELC is reading this, keep up the good work!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
