I am a past parent and I can only judge by my experience, the teachers that were there at the time (4 years ago) were wonderful. The teachers are the jewels, however, the director, in my opinion should not be in that position. She is short tempered with the children and admonishes the teachers unjustly in front of parents and children alike.
I have known many of the teachers and the director for nearly all of my life as my mother used to work at Hunt's for many years and both of my brothers attended. If you are aiming your kids toward private schools this is certainly the place to be. Many area private schools take their stock from Hunt's. The teachers are very attentive and excellent in their fields. The director however leaves much to be desired. It's really the teachers who make this school, remember that.
I think Hunts is an excellent school. This was my daughters first year and the teachers are great. The director is wonderful and knows my daughter by first name. This is the place if you want your child to excel academically and to develop social skills. Thank you for making a difference in my childs life.
