Funkstown School for Early Childhood Education

i love this school, my son goes to funkstown for kindergarten and he loves it!! i love the nice friendly staff, especially ms nancy!!

As a parent of a special needs child, I will say that I fought many losing battles with this school. The principal and other school heads seem to put the student's needs on the bottom of the priority list and play the budget and 'not enough staff' cards. I rarely got the services I begged for. Some teachers were great and others were not. My child now goes to a fantastic school that works with me and works hard to meet his needs.

My son went to this school for pre-k and kindergarten...I love this school! It reminded me of my little school I went to when I was a child. You knew the office staff and they knew you...its just a good school.

This is a small school, but very focused on education and on the child's well being in general. My son went to this school for pre-k and kindergarten and I am very pleased and appreciative of all the staff and volunteers that made it a better place for my son. I would recommend this school to anyone I care for, I wouldnt do it if I knew it werent a good school.
