Ferndale Day Nursery

We absolutely love this school! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the place is clean (and huge) and the Directors are always around if you need them! My children have been here for a while and they love it! My brother and I also went here when we were younger and we loved it! There is plenty of parking even though it's on a neighborhood street. The building is an older type home but it has lots of charm to it. Our kids are learning so much and so fast! All of our friends kids go there too.

Do not take your children here. They only care about the money not the kids at all....My 4 yr old grandsons foot was fractured there the 2nd day of him attending that school, he fractured it by getting out of the way of a larger child riding a bicycle bullying him, they said he was on a bike, not true because my grandson is still afraid of bikes... 5 hours later when I picked him up I found out about him being hurt, what they called a ouchy...He couldnt even walk I had to carry him out of that school from the kichen backdoor!. I told them all, call me if there is any issue, I work at home and can come get him right away...they didnt call me at all but they did make him stand on his broken foot for hours, they never treated his injury at all and they didnt even believe that he had a fracture foot even though I have proof, then they had the never to try to say it didnt get broken there, nice try!..ALSO they wrote me a bad refund check, so I must fight to get money due back to me too, and that was only a partial refund. If I could give this facility 0 stars I would. I just took my 14 month old son out of there because they are awful. My son got injured numerous times and no one seemed to know what happened. It was always a case of, "well I wasn't in the room or I didn't see anything". Secondly, my son had severe diaper rash repeatedly because his diaper was not being changed often enough. He even had a yeast infection!!! Just yesterday (which was my sons last day), I picked him up and one of the directors was holding him. As soon as she handed him to me I could tell he had pooped. She claimed she thought it was the trashcan. And that he had been with her for a hour. So I took my son to the infant room and changed his diaper myself. His bottom was soo raw that he barely stayed still for me to change him. And might I add that he didnt have a diaper rash when he got there in the morning. I spoke with the owner and he did not take any responsibility for his sorry daycare. He had the nerve to say they were the best in the business. Please! Let's just say don't EVER take your child there if you can help it. They definitely don't CARE for kids. At best they just WATCH them! Thank God my son is ok.
