NIST CCC is a tight knit community where the teachers all know each student in the whole center and communicate with each other to facilitate adjustment of a child's graduation from one level to the next. The center offers field trips to zoos, farms, water parks, etc. and also invites career professionals, e.g. fire fighters and over the summer, child performers to educate and entertain the children. The focus clearly is on the child's well being. Very well regarded among all parents.
