The teachers are OK. But the management is simply horrible! My son had been there for more than 2 years and we always paid the tuition or anything else in time. The new management came in 2012 and suddenly stated that we had to pay by week. And since we did not know this change(they messed up the system by themselves), we had to PAY the so called late fee no matter how we explained to them it is not our fault. SImply pathetic management who only blame their own stupidness on others.

We had an infant at Columbia Academy in Maple Lawn, but we moved to another center relatively soon after observing for a couple of days. We did not feel like there was enough stimulation (toys not used as much as we thought they should be), the music program was a few songs once a week and not the types of songs that you get at Kindermusik or Music Together (which we prefer). We also ran into an unwillingness to change the diaper more than every 2 hours or feed more than every 2 hours. The room was clean. The facility is relatively new and very nice.

The school is ok. The management is horrible. They never responded back to our emails about our daughter falling out of a broken rocking chair and hitting her head when she was 12 months old. The staff needs to be reevaluated, and there should probably be clean sweep throughout and start fresh. On the other hand, our daughter learned a lot and she loved her teacher. There were some development concerns and they did not help with meeting our needs. She also turns 2 in September and they will not put her in the twos until January. She is 20 months old and still in the infant room. There is a lot that needs to change in order for the school to excell.
